Today, April 15th, we are Giving Away... (PRIZE CLAIMED)

Over $75.00 Worth of Beautiful Material from The Material Girls Quilts

Let’s sing it together,

“Living in a material world
And I am a material girl
You know that we are living in a material world
And I am a material girl.”

Are you a material girl? Do you love to design, create, and sew using gorgeous, high-quality material? Is there a sewing project such as a quilt, apron, skirt, or baby blanket that you have kept on the back burner because you have not yet found the perfect fabric? Well bring that project to the front burner because today I am going to introduce you to the beautiful fabric of The Material Girls Quilts. And guess what? They are giving some of it away!! For free. To you. If you are our lucky winner. Yipee!

The Material Girls Quilts is located in South Jordan, Utah. My mom frequents The Material Girls Quilts quite often and she has assured me that they have some of the finest fabric available. And believe me, my mom knows her fabric. But you do not have to live in Utah to own some of The Material Girls Quilts' material. You can order fabric and much more from their online store. Here's just a sample of what they offer:
Beautiful Fabric (this is a Jelly Roll from Moda)

Kits of all kinds (such as quilt, clothing, bag, and apron kits)

Books and Magazines (I like to include these with a gift for my mom on Mother’s Day or birthdays)

And much, much more. Visit The Material Girls Quilts online store here to discover all their amazing products.

Today The Material Girls Quilts is giving away A Jelly Cake which is a Jelly Roll, Layer Cake, and Charm Pack (valued at over $75.00). This is such an awesome giveaway—a seamstress’s dream. But maybe some of you aren’t seamstresses, and that’s okay. But I bet know you someone who is. And maybe that someone is your mom (Mother’s Day is around the corner) or a friend, or a sister. You should enter to win and then you can give the prize to them. Or better yet, enter to win, and then call them and let them know about today’s giveaway so that they can enter too. They will be so grateful.
They will also be grateful to know that The Material Girls Quilts is offering a 20% DISCOUNT off of one regular priced item. This is good through April 22. To redeem, you must say that you are a follower of Give Away Today upon check-out.

Today you can enter to win the Jelly Cake from The Material Girls Quilts up to THREE times.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry visit The Material Girls Quilts here. Look at all of their beautiful products--including their fabric. Then come back to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and your favorite product.
Example: Jane Doe: Gypsy Rose Jelly Roll

For a third entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and an item you have given to someone that you made for them out of fabric OR something special that you own that someone has made for you out of fabric. And this isn’t a requirement for the third entry, but if you want to show us all a picture of this special item, we’d love to see it! Do a post about your special item on your blog and leave your url with your comment so that we can visit your blog. Be sure to do a link back to Give Away Today in your blog post.
Example: Jane Doe: Each of my four children currently sleeps under a beautiful quilt that my mom made for them. On each of their quilts my mom has placed a little tag that says “Made with Love by Grandma Faye”. I love and cherish my children’s quilts. And those are just four of the quilts I treasure. I have at least two others. I believe quilts are gifts that can be treasured for a lifetime.

The winner of the Jelly Cake from The Material Girls Quilts will be announced tomorrow Thursday, April 16th. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to check out our new giveaway for the day. Thank you to everyone who entered our Mother’s Day Contest. The entries are now closed. We will announce our finalists right here on Give Away Today on April 27, 28, and 29th. You, our wonderful readers, will choose our Mother’s Day winners.

Bethany said...

Bethany Kestner - My mom has made a quilt for each of her grandsons when they are born. My oldest son was her first "Grandma quilt", and I think it is the most special because it is a heritage quilt. There are 9 blocks, each depicting a child wearing traditional clothing from a country that my son's ancestors are from. It is adorable, amazingly put together and it will be special for him to have as he grows older. I love all my sons' quilts, but that is my favorite. My mom has 7 grandsons and no granddaughters, so I'd love to win this fabric for her so that she can make a girly quilt for her first granddaughter, whenever she comes along!
