Today we are Giving Away... (PRIZES CLAIMED)

TWO $45.00 Gift Certificates to the Chic Online Store Scribble It!

“You’re stronger than you seem;
braver than you believe;
and smarter than you think you are."

Wouldn’t you love for your sons or daughters to wake up and read this message every morning when they walk out of their room? My sweet neighbor ordered this quote in vinyl lettering from Scribble It. She lovingly placed it in the hallway outside her three sons' bedrooms—ages eight to thirteen. A daily reminder to each of them that they are strong, courageous, and intelligent.

I can imagine in a few years someone asking one of my neighbor’s boys what their favorite quote is. I’m sure my neighbor would love it as a mom if one of her boys perfectly recited the above phrase. Helping your child to be inspired? That’s a good thing.

Scribble It can custom create any quote you have I mind. In fact, they love custom orders so much that they will soon have a new website with a "Design Center" where you can create your own design in your chosen font, color, and size. You can then purchase it right there. Sounds pretty easy and fun. Don't ya think?

Allow me to show you some of the very cool and very affordable vinyl lettering possibilities from Scribble It:
How Sweet It Is!

This cute little owl? Yeah, I got it from Scribble It and gave it to my sister for her b-day. When she enters her laundry room he is sitting there waiting for her. A not-so-enjoyable task to do with a fun feathered friend.

Scribble It also offers chalkboard Vinyl in a variety of shapes and sizes, works perfect in any room - from the kitchen menu to artistic hands in bedrooms.

And of course, Scribble It offers a huge assortment of Wall Art. Decorate your home with Scribble It's beautiful wall art. More designs coming soon!

For those of you who are in charge of Super Saturday/Enrichment Activities - Scribble It has a whole section specifically designed for group activities. Their Holiday Metal art is very popular! If you are interested in coordinating one of these activities, send an email to scribbleit@msn.com.

DISCOUNT Time: Scribble It will be doing $1.00 Shipping From June 23 to June 26th. Sweet!

You can enter to win one of the $45 gift certificates to Scribble It up to THREE times today. This is open to anyone anywhere in the world. So go ahead and give your friends in Mexico City, Paris, or Berlin a call and let them know about today’s giveaway. I’m sure you will receive a very grateful Gracias, Merci, or Danke!

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry please visit Scribble It here. Click on "Original Scribbles" on the top menu bar. Look at Scribble It's wide array of vinyl lettering. Then return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and what you would like with your $45 gift certificate if you win. Did I say $45.00? Yes I believe I did. That's mighty generous of you, Scribble It! Thank you!
Example: Jane Doe: Knobby Knee Birds and Set of Three Vinyl Chalkboard Circles

For a third entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and your favorite room in your home (or apartment, or whatever it is in which you reside). And we're nosy, so be sure to include why it's your fave.
Example: Jane Doe: My bedroom. My husband surprised me for my b-day and did a total make-over on our room. He received no help with the colors, style, or anything. He is a brave man indeed. The end result was perfect! I was delighted to see that he knows my tastes so well.

The two winners of a $45.00 gift certificate each from Scribble It will be announced tomorrow, June 24th. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to discover our new giveaway for the day. Thanks!

My office/studio. It’s the one area of the house that I sit and create. I share a corner of it with my husband since he works at home a lot, but the rest of the space is MINE! It houses my ingenius desk that I made by combining a glass, shadow-box style desk top from IKEA and Closetmaid shelving from Lowes. On my desk of course I have my Powerbook G4, Wacom tablet and art supplies. I have shelves for my books and awards and knick-knacks and on the other side of the room is my grandmother’s circa 1960’s sewing machine that I recently repaired, another table from IKEA, my light box, and of course more art supplies. That space is truly me. Eclectic and colorful.

My favorite room is our workroom/den.

We bought the house because of this room which was added a few years after it was built.

Hubby has a 2 desk work area for all his computer photo editing and I have an area big enough for my monster work table and sewing machine and there's room left over for a cozy love seat and a big TV.

We live in this room!
