The "Summer Flower" Dress from BugsnBees
This weekend one of the familiar sounds of fall filled my home. Can you guess what it was? Why FOOTBALL of course. And as soon as the football games start coming I know that fall is just around the corner. Fall=a new wardrobe and getting out all of our comfy cozies. I can't wait. One item I am particularly excited to have my daughter wear is her darling dress from BugsnBees. I had her wear it on Studio 5 last week and I LOVED how it looked with tights and boots. Throw a long sleeve shirt underneath and she will have her first fall outfit ready to go, which means one less thing I will have to buy.
I love the versatility of BugsnBee's dresses. They can be worn alone, paired with leggings, or with skinny jeans. Just look how cute this is...
On babies:
And on big girls:
This is such a cute pattern and looks adorable with boots and tights. Throw a cardigan over it and you've got yourself a fall/winter outfit.
You just might need two or more of these darling dresses (because you won't be able to pick just one fabric, trust me) so luckily BugsnBees is offering us a DISCOUNT: Buy 1 for $25.99, or get 2 for $40. Just convo BugsnBees on their Etsy site here, and they will create a custom listing just for you.
If you are ready to enter to win the summer flower dress (let's be honest, it is still 90 degrees outside) from BugsnBees you get up to FOUR entries today. You can enter if you live in the United States or Canada.
For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe
For a second entry, please visit BugsnBees here and look around at all of their darling products. Once you have done this, please return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and something you loved on their site.
Example: Jane Doe: I love the floral vine and stripe dress because it looks so cute with brown accents (and I'm a brown type of gal.)
For a third entry, subscribe receive Give Away Today's monthly newsletter. To subscribe, scroll down and on the right-hand side you will see “Want to Subscribe to Receive our Monthly Newsletter?” Enter your email address. Once you subscribe or if you have already subscribed in the past, you get a third entry. In a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and the words "Subscribed".
Example: Jane Doe: Subscribed
For the fourth entry, this is so totally random but what is the grossest thing you have ever eaten? Please tell us in a NEW comment your first and last name and your sickest eating experience.
Example: Jane Doe: One time when I was a teenager I was eating Lemonheads which I had placed on my windowsill. I was reading a book and not really paying attention when I put a Lemonhead in my mouth. I thought "This does not taste or feel like a Lemonhead." I spit it out and to my horror I realized I had been eating a dead fly.
The winner of the dress from BugsnBees will be announced right here on Thursday, September 10th. Please visit us then to see if you are one of our winners and to discover our new giveaway for the day. Thanks and we'll see you back here tomorrow!

When I called Kellogg's to complain they told me "Oh, we have been waiting for someone to call about that". Apparently they knew this had happened but didn't know where these boxes had been shipped to. To this day I can't eat mini wheats.

Jennifer J. Schaugaard- The grossest thing I ate would have to be poi from Hawaii.
Rachelle Steed: The grosses thing I ever ate was actually a drink. I was sitting in the airport with my mom and picked up an opened bottled water that I thought was hers. After I started drinking she asked me where I got it. I wasnt hers. GROSS!
Crissa Robertson: I like the perfect paisley dress
Kim Lambert. I started to eat a bug that was in my salad at a restaurant. It was disgusting!

Jennifer Leishman - I love how their dresses can go with anything.
Jennifer J. Schaugaard- I had to eat oyster soup. That is disgusting!!!!
Kristi Richmond: not sure if this counts - since we didn't technically eat it - but when we were first married, I tried to make meatloaf. I had asked someone for a recipe and they said that they just mix the meat with a couple of eggs, breadcrumbs, and seasoning. Yeah - I obviously got the ratio wrong - it was nasty, slimey, mush. Luckily my husband worked at a pizza place - so we ate pizza. Years later, I attempted meatloaf again - with an actually recipe - and even my kids love it.
Crissa Robertson: cow tongue soup...don't know what my dad was thinking when he made that for family dinner. The grossest part is, he left the tongue in my mom's soup for her to find only after it was in her mouth

Diane Pulley: I am not a huge sweet eater, so I tended to save candy when I was young. I got out a chocolate foil wrapped easter egg that I had for who knows how long. When I unwrapped the egg there were little tiny holes all over it. I was about to pop the egg in my mouth when I noticed tiny little worms crawling out of it. Lesson learned - chocolate doesn't stay good forever.

I bit into it and about lost my whole dinner, I remember thinking "just swallow the dang thing and you can take a drink!" My dad and uncle who were sitting across from and next to me and were worried that I was going to vomit all over them, still give me a hard time about almost 10 years later!

I was at a bbq with a bunch of friends, and one of the guys worked for a sushi resturant and was making some california rolls. I was complaining about how much it smelled, so a few of the guys pinned me down and shoved one in my mouth! It was disgusting and I will never try it again.
