For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry, please visit the Pickled Pumpkin here. Look at all of the girly products they have to offer and then return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and what you would use a $30.00 gift certificate on if you are our winner.
Example: Jane Doe: For Pete's Sake, where do I even begin? I'll take the Coral Reef Flower Studs, The Under the Sea Flower Studs, Ferrari Red Flower Studs, Summer Green/Lime, the Rainy Day Studs, and the Vanilla Ice Cream studs

For a third entry, subscribe to Give Away Today's newsletter on the right-hand side. Once you have done this or if you have already subscribed in the past, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and the words "Subscribed".
Example: Jane Doe: Subscribed

For a fourth entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and how old you were when you got your ears pierced. And if you do not have them pierced, just say "Don't have them pierced."
Example: Jane Doe: I have a long history of getting my ears pierced. My mom took me when I was five to get my first holes. When I was twelve I got them double-pierced. When I was in middle school I had them pierced a few times. When I was in college I pierced one ear on the top of the lobe. But alas, as an adult I now have my ears pierced only once in each ear--and that's the way it will remain.

The winners of the $30 gift certificate and the $15 gift certificate from the Pickled Pumpkin will be announced Monday, October 19th. Please visit us then to see if you are one of our winners and to discover our new giveaway for the day.

Amanda Nokleby: I first got my ears pierced when I was 5, but I apparently hated them, so my Mom took them out and let my pierced holes grow in. I got my ears pieced again when I was 12 and ended up taking them out too early, so one of my holes closed. My Mom repierced it and did so a bit crooked. To this day, I have to put one earring angled instead of straight through.

Anna Richins: I got my ears pierced at 13 but only after receiving a VERY expensive pair of earrings from my paternal grandmother. My father insisted that I wait until I was 18, she pretended not to know that and insisted that "the child" be allowed to get her ears pierced. After all she had spent a LOT of money on my present. :-) You've got to love grandmothers!

Courtney Rae Clark: I was born in Germany and got mine pierced in the hospital right after I was born. When I had an allergic reaction my mom just thought they got infected and took the earrings out. Growing up I never got them redone cause I always had sensitive ears.
When I was in middle school I got a little daring and was soon called the "rebelous" type. I pierced my own ears in the lowes parking lot with my little sisters earrings. my mom was so mad I used my little sisters black pearl earrings, but quickly calmed down when my ears didnt turn red or get infected or inflamed at all. Soon realized I was the quality of the metal (I was allergic to the sulfa in nickle and other impure metals.) Through high school I gauged my ears (yes, all you mothers can shiver and squirm in your seats thinking about the giant holes in my ears.) and started working at a tattoo shop after my senior year and into my college life. needless to say I have other piercings including an 'industrial' which is a bar that goes through your ear at 2 different points in your cartlage. You can google 'industrial piercing' for photos.

And when I was 26 I got my left ear pierced on the top, but I had that one for 2 years and it got sore all the time, so I had to finally get rid of it and it healed over pretty quick. I pierced my belly button when I was 26 also.
