Today, October 13th, we are Giving Away Products from TWO Companies...(CLAIMED)

A $40 Gift Certificate to Splendid Things

A very wise man once told me, "Take one hour to thank as many people as you can in as many ways possible."

I took his advice and spent one hour writing, enclosing, and mailing thank you cards. When the hour was up, I felt good. I was glad I had taken the time to recognize the service and love that others had given to me. And the people who received the cards were equally as happy.

Today I would like to introduce you to Splendid Things. They have the most beautiful homemade cards. So beautiful in fact, that they sent me one last week and I have since ordered three more.

The owner and creator of the products of Splendid Things is Jeanette. She is a stay at home mom of two little boys. She has been happily married for almost 11 years now to her husband who is a pastor. She started her Etsy shop as a way to supplement her family's income and as a creative outlet for herself.

She absolutely loves to create and I absolutely love what she has created. Her shop features a variety of products including:

Darling Baby Dresses:

Cute Kitchen Sets:

Dainty Hair Accessories:

Fun Reusable Snack Bags (wouldn't these be nice to have in your purse or to send to school in your child's lunch?)

Or you can purchase a matching Bib and bag for feeding time on the go:

All of Splendid Thing's products are OOAK (one of a kind). So you can know that if you make a purchase from Splendid Things, you will have a product that is unique and distinctly your own. A portion of Splendid Thing's proceeds (10%) go to help fund educational projects on www.DonorsChoose.org.

DISCOUNT: From now until the end of October, Splendid Things is offer the readers $10 off a purchase of $40 or more. Please enter "GiveawayToday" in the message to seller section at checkout and then the $10 will be refunded via Paypal within 24 hrs.

Today Splendid Things would like to give away a $40 gift certificate. And guess who can enter to win? Yeah, that'd pretty much be anyone anywhere. You can enter to win up to FOUR times today.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry, please visit Splendid Things here. Look at all of their fantastic products, then return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and what you would use your $40.00 on if you are our winner.
Example: Jane Doe: Sheer Elegance Hair Bow, Love to be a Lady Hair Bow, Three Reusable Sanck Bags, and of course, another card

For a third entry, subscribe to Give Away Today's newsletter on the right-hand side. Once you have done this or if you have already subscribed in the past, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and the words "Subscribed".
Example: Jane Doe: Subscribed

For a fourth entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and the names of three people who you would like to send a lovely homemade card from Splendid Things. Seriously, you should do it. Do it! Dooooooo it!!!
Example: Jane Doe: My mom (her birthday is in a week), my Grandma Trimble (she loves mail), and my friend Leslie (I have a little present to send her anyway, so I may as well make it more special with a card from Splendid Things)

The winner of the $40 gift certificates from Splendid Things will be announced Wednesday, October 14th. Please visit us tomorrow to see if you are our winner and to discover our new giveaway for the day. Thanks!

$40 would go a long way on this site! Love the monkeying around burpclothes and washcloths! ($12) I'd also have to get a bib and like the little house on the bib one, but would prefer a monkeying around one since everything is ooak ($7) Definately some reusable snack bags too ($5 each, $10 total) and probably a set of the Glenda burp cloths ($12)

Sandy said...

Sandy White: my best friend in Hawaii, since she's always sending me cute things; my mom, because she's just that awesome; and my step-grandma, because my grandpa just died a few weeks ago and I think a card in the mail would pick up her spirits.
