Kristen Bunderson: One year I bought those little 6 inch christmas trees after christmas and then the next year I sprayed them with fake snow and gave out the story of Why Christmas Trees aren't Perfect to all of my neighbors. They turned out really cute, and the best thing was, if you wait until after christmas and get them on clearance for the next year you can get them cheap.

Suzanne Brenchley: The year I had a brand new baby in November, I gave "Homemade Christmas Fudge." It was actually those BIG sized Candy Bars and it had a cute little poem attached to the front that was the exact size of the rectangle candy bar. The poem was to the tune of "Jingle Bells" that talked about the chaos I was in at that time - hence the "great" gift.
