Today, November 5th, we are Giving Away... (CLOSED)

Two Pairs of Shoes from My Shoe Shoppe

You know when you're seven months pregnant and it's almost Christmas time and you go shopping with your sisters and you think, "What am I even doing here?" Nothing fits! At all! So finally you just go sit down on a bench and watch and wait...

That ever happen to anyone else?

It happened to me two years ago. After retiring to the closest bench, I handed my sisters my Christmas money, and asked them to surprise me with some new shoes.

And surprise me they did with Bright Red Flats. I thanked them and then went home and put the shoes on a high shelf in my closet.

Because at that point in my life bright red flats were a little out of my comfort zone. But then something happened. One day I took them off of that high shelf, put them on, and I have never looked back.

What is my point with all of this? The point is shoes are a big deal. You have to wear shoes with every outfit you wear and believe me, shoes can make or break an outfit.

But where to find fashionable, yet affordable shoes? I'll tell you--My Shoe Shoppe! They are a home party business, specializing in fun and affordable shoes and boots for women. Their shoes are $24.99 or less and their boots vary in price from $19.99-$39.99.

My Shoe Shoppe offers gorgeous heels. My sister has red heels and I do not.
But I really want some.

Purple would be fun too.

My Shoe Shoppe has great boots. In black.

And Brown. And grey. And even yellow.

I searched all summer long for some turquoise flats (you know, because now I am a wee bit more daring with my shoe color), but to no avail. That is why when I found these little pretties at My Shoe Shoppe, I was thrilled: (and yes, they also come in RED)
My Shoe Shoppe sent me a pair of those as well as a pair of these:
They go with everything. And since I am constantly chasing a twenty-month-old, I am so glad they are flat (and not to mention comfortable).

I want to show you just one more pair of my favorite shoes from My Shoe Shoppe and then I promise I will not put pictures of myself on Give Away Today again for a long time (because twice in one week--sheesh!)

These high heels go with everything. I am wearing them in the above picture with a pink dress. I also wear them with a black dress, and skirts, and the occasional jeans.

Are you looking for a little extra money for the holidays? Well good, because that means My Shoe Shoppe is looking for you. They are currently hiring consultants. They will give you $100 off their start up package for consultants. They are looking for help nationwide, and specifically in Utah County.

Today My Shoe Shoppe will be giving away two pairs of shoes. One pair will be from their "Current Line" and one pair will be from their "Clearance Line." Winners can choose the shoe they'd like out of the galleries, as long as their size shows available/in stock.
No matter where you reside in the world you can enter to win up to FOUR times today.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry, please visit My Shoe Shoppe here. Look at their vast array of stylish shoes and then return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and what you would like if you win.
Example: Jane Doe: I need a new sneaker. The Sahara-51 would be great!

For a third entry, become a Facebook Fan of My Shoe Shoppe here. Once you become a Facebook Fan or if you are already a fan in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and "Fan"
Example: Jane Doe: Fan

For a fourth entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and a pair of bad shoes you have owned.
Example: Jane Doe: Once in college I really wanted these brown Doc Martins. I found the exact pair I wanted at a store in the mall, but they only had them in size 6-1/2. But I am a 7-1/2, so what did I do? I bought them anyways. By the end of a very long day at campus, my feet were KILLING me! I had to walk home barefoot--and believe me--it was not a short jaunt. Luckily my roommate and friend, who is the other half of Emily Squared Circus, and I went out for ice cream to ease the pain (of both my feet and a $100 down the drain)

The winners of the giveaway from My Shoe Shoppe will be announced tomorrow Friday, November 6th. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to discover our new giveaway for the day. Thanks!

Tai Jeppson, Bought some cute tan shoes in High School from American Eagle, they were a little small. I had to buy inserts so I could wear them comfortably. I had foot cramps everyday! but they looked adorable with my outfits. So mad still that I gave them to the DI.

Anonymous said...

Jennifer Roerig - My story is making the mistake of dying my shoes to match my prom dress. It poured that right so in an effort to "save" my shoes, I ended up running barefoot through the parking lot in my prom dress, lol! To make matters worse, my shoes still ended up with spots on them dispite my best efforts to sheild them from the rain!

I bought a great pair of boots from a thrift store in California and loved the look...they were ok comfort wise but didn't realized later that one pair is 8.5 and the other is 9. I still wore them as I really like the look but boy I got some mean blisters.

Rachael said...

Rachaell Nelson I would have to say the most uncomfortable shoes were on my wedding day I wanted them to be tall and beautiful and they were but man bad idea for a day of all standing luckily I stopped and got some more for the reception before all the dancing so now I have picture with both shoes in my wedding dress what women do to look pretty

Ella Bella Floral said...

Hailey Moss...I don't know if you'd call this a "bad pair of shoes" but...some black flip flops from J-Crew. They were very soft, and I wore them WAY too much and eventually wore a HOLE in the heel. This didn't stop me from wearing them. Then one day the front strap popped out of it's hole but this still didn't stop me from wearing them (even in the middle of "icy" January)...I'd pop it back in every time it came out. Luckily I always had friends near because I was constantly slipping in them...(they were really quite dangerous, worse than a pair of heels). So, there's my story of my best/WORST pair of shoes! :)

Lindsey Fitch: A few years a go I bought a pair of heels that were super cute, but totally uncomfortable and really slick to walk in. I chose to wear the heels on Valentine's Day, which was a cold and snowy day. My husband and I were out to dinner and after we finished it was a blizzard outside. So, we tried to run to the car, but I slipped on some ice and landed smack on bootie on the ground. My husband, made it all the way to the car before noticing I had even fell. The next day the whole left side of my rear was black and blue. I don't think I wore the heels again!

They were open toe sandals and had a large satin ribbon with rhinestones up the back. I loved them! But after a verrry long day of wedding festivities my feet were killing me. On top of that, the outdoor reception paired with a rainy afternoon meant my beautiful white satin shoes were ruined. Ha but I couldn't bear to toss them and still have them in my closet. :)

Jennifer Haffner. I bought a pair of black polished leather knee high boots to wear with an outfit for a Jacksonville Jaquars football game. At the stadium. When I tried them on a the store they were fine. After wearing them for an hour my feet started to throb. At this point I was at the game. I refused to stand. Wouldn't drink anything to avoid having to go to the bathroom. By the end of the third quarter I had to suck it up and walk in my socks. Let me tell you I looked really hot in my jersey, jaguar pants, holding my boots exposing white athletic socks.

If I find a cute pair of jeans and they are a little tight I still buy them hoping that I will get skinny and fit in them. (who doesn't). This however does not work the same for shoes.. I found this really cute pair of shoes in college and I wanted them sooo bad but they were at least a half size shoe to small. I still bought them with the hope that some day I would fit in them. Needless to say I never fit in the pair of shoes. LOL!!!
