SOMETHING FOR A BOY: ALTHOUGH GIRLS WOULD LOVE THIS TOO (CLAIMED)

FOUR signed hardback copies of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Do-It-Yourself Book

When I was trying to decide what would be the best thing to give a boy for the summer, I looked to my own son and his interests. I’ll tell you right off, my son does not arrive home from school, snuggle up on the couch, and open a book. Nor does he beg to stay up late to finish a chapter he is reading. It wasn’t until he began reading The Diary of a Wimpy Kid that he began exhibiting this behavior (behavior which caused great excitement within me).

Here’s a brief synopsis of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid:
Let’s face it: Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to explain that to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other “manly” endeavors. Of course, Greg is able to easily sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up . . . or get shipped out.

If you know a boy (or a girl—my daughter loves these books too), you need to enter to win. And if by chance you are not one of our four winners, you need to purchase that boy (or girl) a copy of any of the books in The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Out of all of the books on Amazon (and there are millions of books on Amazon, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book is currently rated at #109. Wow! You can purchase copies here http://www.wimpykid.com/ or here http://www.amazon.com/ or here http://www.abramsbooks.com/.

You can enter to win Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book up to THREE times. This is open to those living in the U.S. or Canada.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry please visit Diary of a Wimpy Kids’ website here. Check out their info about Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Then come back to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and who you would give this book to if you win.
Example: Jane Doe: Sadie Faye (giving it to a girl rather than a boy, but hey, I said that was allowed)

For a third entry, call, text, or email at least two people and let them know about our great giveaways today. Once you have done this, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name, the first name of the people you told, and how you told them.
Example: Jane Doe: Brian, Kris, Tristen, and Brinkley (I wanted to tell more than two): called them

The winners of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Diary Do-It-Yourself Book will be announced Tuesday, June 2nd. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to discover our new giveaway for the day.
