Today, April 1st, we are Giving Away... (PRIZES CLAIMED)

Two $25.00 Gift Certificates to the Darling Online Shoppe Hand Picked Daisy

Have you ever looked at something and it made your heart happy? That is how I felt when I received my new journal from Hand Picked Daisy. I must confess, I have always been, and will probably always be, a journal geek. I love to record my feelings, experiences, and thoughts. And I love it even more when I go back and read those feelings, experiences, and thoughts. It helps me to remember special times in my life, reflect on experiences that have shaped who I am today, and it reminds me of little things my children have said and done that have long been forgotten. Oh, the beauty of the written word.

So when I received my beautiful journal from Hand Picked Daisy and it was wrapped in lovely paper, tied with brown twine, with my name carefully placed on back, I was in journal-geek heaven. And not only did I order one for myself, but I also ordered one to give to my six-year-old daughter for Easter. She loves to write and I know she will enjoy writing in her pretty journal from Hand Picked Daisy. After our journals arrived and I saw how great they were (and at such an excellent price), I ordered one for three other people (I’m not going to reveal who—they may be reading) for a birthday, Mother’s Day, and a friend who is experiencing a hard time due to illness. If you are one of our winners today, you could use your gift certificate on a journal from Hand Picked Daisy for you or to give as a gift to someone you know.

But let’s suppose journal writing isn’t your thing, that’s okay, because you could also use your gift certificate on a perpetual calendar which will help you to remember the birthdays of the special people in your life:
And then you can spend the remainder of your gift certificate on buying one of those special people a card which also doubles as a gift because it comes with adorable magnets:

Hand Picked Daisy also sells the most adorable scripture totes for boys:

And girls:
Hand Picked Daisy also offers Visiting Teaching Kits for each month of the year:

How cute are those?

Each person can enter to win the $25.00 Gift Certificate to Hand Picked Daisy up to THREE times today.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry visit Hand Picked Daisy’s online shoppe here. Look at all of Hand Picked Daisy’s adorable products. Then come back to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and what you would spend your $25.00 on if you win.
Example: Jane Doe: Scripture Tote for my Daughter

For a third entry, I told my little sister Traci, who I swear loves April Fool's Day more than Christmas, that I would help her get some funny prank ideas from the readers of Give Away Today. So in a NEW comment leave your first and last name and tell us a good prank you have done to someone, someone has done to you, or one of which you have heard.
Example: Jane Doe: Our neighbor told my husband his aunt needed some advice on something. Our neighbor asked my husband to give his aunt, Myra Mains, a call. When my husband called he asked, "Is Myra there?" The person on the other end asked, "Who?" My husband said, "Myra Mains." Come to find out my husband had called a morgue and he was asking the employee if his remains (Myra Mains) was available to speak.

The winners of the products from Hand Picked Daisy will be announced tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to check out our new giveaway for the day.

On our last vacation my sister in law decided she wanted to drink a few mixed drinks... she get's kind of dingy when she's drinking. He was still asleep when we called him and he threw some pants and his boots on and ran out the door. When he got over to our house to get a rope we were all laughing so hard. We yelled "April Fools" and laughed some more. He wasn't very happy we had woke him up for a prank.
