Two $25.00 Gift Certificates to the Darling Online Shoppe Hand Picked Daisy
Have you ever looked at something and it made your heart happy? That is how I felt when I received my new journal from Hand Picked Daisy. I must confess, I have always been, and will probably always be, a journal geek. I love to record my feelings, experiences, and thoughts. And I love it even more when I go back and read those feelings, experiences, and thoughts. It helps me to remember special times in my life, reflect on experiences that have shaped who I am today, and it reminds me of little things my children have said and done that have long been forgotten. Oh, the beauty of the written word.

Oh, the beauty of the written word.
So when I received my beautiful journal from Hand Picked Daisy and it was wrapped in lovely paper, tied with brown twine, with my name carefully placed on back, I was in journal-geek heaven. And not only did I order one for myself, but I also ordered one to give to my six-year-old daughter for Easter. She loves to write and I know she will enjoy writing in her pretty journal from Hand Picked Daisy. After our journals arrived and I saw how great they were (and at such an excellent price), I ordered one for three other people (I’m not going to reveal who—they may be reading) for a birthday, Mother’s Day, and a friend who is experiencing a hard time due to illness. If you are one of our winners today, you could use your gift certificate on a journal from Hand Picked Daisy for you or to give as a gift to someone you know.
But let’s suppose journal writing isn’t your thing, that’s okay, because you could also use your gift certificate on a perpetual calendar which will help you to remember the birthdays of the special people in your life:
And then you can spend the remainder of your gift certificate on buying one of those special people a card which also doubles as a gift because it comes with adorable magnets:

So in a NEW comment leave your first and last name and tell us a good prank you have done to someone, someone has done to you, or one of which you have heard.
Example: Jane Doe: Our neighbor told my husband his aunt needed some advice on something. Our neighbor asked my husband to give his aunt, Myra Mains, a call. When my husband called he asked, "Is Myra there?" The person on the other end asked, "Who?" My husband said, "Myra Mains." Come to find out my husband had called a morgue and he was asking the employee if his remains (Myra Mains) was available to speak.
The winners of the products from Hand Picked Daisy will be announced tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to check out our new giveaway for the day.

I pretended to go into labor (with my principal's blessing and my husband in on it, too) and got to leave school early when my husband was called to come and take me to the hospital. The next day, my long-term sub announced the birth of my son, including a terrible name, and then I walked through the door and said "April Fools!" The kids were shocked but it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of prank!

I had an employee come to me and tell me that she has to quit her job and that today is her last day. Then after a few minutes she tells me april fools and I just looked at her and handed her a box and asked her to clean out her desk and leave the premise as soon as she got her desk cleaned out. When she got that done I said April fools......
Rebecca Gagnier: You put 3 drops of blue food coloring in the bottom of your kids cereal bowl, add the dry cereal and then when you poor the milk it will turn blue (or whatever color you would like)
Melanee Peterson- the best April Fools joke involved spiders. A friend and I had a big stuffed spider (at work). I am terrified of spiders (long story), but we would take turns hiding the spider to scare the other one. It would happen many times throughout the day. Well, I added every kind of spider I could find (rings, plastic, slimy... etc) and attached them to the underside of the stuffed spider with string. So when she picked up the stuffed spider they dropped and dangled... hilarious!!!

Sharida Packard - my grandma called her children(3) last April fools in a panic because Dad (grandpa) had enough of the deer eating their bushes and shot one. She didn't know what to do with it and thought that maybe the boys could just come and butcher it so no one would know what they did. All the kids are in politics and one is a Davis County Sheriff. So it was great to hear them panic and try to come up with the right thing to do. Once they all got to Grandma's house she had Sandwiches and stuff waiting for them to eat. She's the last person you expected to pull an April Fools Joke!! :)

Kristen Mason: In high school, two years in a row I answered my Prom date on April Fool's Day - with a blue poster, blue balloons, and blue candy. I wrote on the poster "So sorry to make you BLUE but I just can't go to Prom with you." Then put a small note in the corner that said *look under here for the reason* - where I told them April Fools and that I would love to go with them. The first time I did it, the guy didn't check the little note underneath, and walked inside bummed out, and told his whole family that I had said no. Later that day his sister was looking at the poster and told him "She said YES!"
