Example: Jane Doe: My little sister Traci and I shared a room. We had bright red shag carpet, the walls were pink (as were the bedspreads), and we had a wallpaper strip which displayed all of the letters of the alphabet. After the lights were out Traci would ask me to tell her the “Bobby Story”—which consisted of stories I would create each night about a boy named, you guessed it, Bobby.
The winners of the canvas painting from Criswell Creations will be announced Thursday, April 9th. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to check out our new giveaway for the day. And don’t forget to enter a mom you know in our Mother’s Day Contest. For more details, go here.

Jennie Davis: My childhood room is one I hope to never repeat. It had yellow shag carpet, white walls, and a window so small and high that you could only see out of it from the top bunk. We constantly lived in construction.
I have some great memories; however to this day yellow makes me nauseous! Thanks to the shag carpet.
love love love the rocker and alien picture!!!

The painting didn't have a name but I really loved the baby safari animals. There was a monkey, hippo, and giraff. ADORABLE!

what I remember about my childhood room was it was wallpapered. Pink and white stripes went up until about the top of the door and then it hit a floral boarder. Past the floral boarder was a smaller print of flowers. Thinking about it now makes my head spin but at the time I remember telling my mom how much I loved it.

Danielle Smith: I always shared a room with my sister. There was no real decorative theme at all...just our stuff that made it our own at the time. In one house though, I do remember that the walls were a deep mustard yellow...not much went with that!!!
Kjersten Vandenberghe: My childhood bedroom had pink floral wallpaper on top and green and pink plaid wallpaper on the bottom. I had a chain hanging from the ceiling in one corner with a lot of stuffed animals tied to it. My bed was given to me by my great grandmother which came out of her child hood home I still have it.
