from Natalie Layton Photography
Does anyone out there ever worry? You know, about the Swine Flu, the current economic situation, or whether or not your new pants make you look fat? Yeah, me too. That’s why it would be wonderful to have one of Natalie Layton’s chic posters “Keep Calm and Carry On” hanging in my abode. So wonderful, in fact, that I just ordered this red brick poster from Natalie Layton Photography to frame and hang in my bathroom:

That way each morning, no matter what the day ahead of me holds (and with four kids that could be just about anything), I can look at this poster and think, “Keep it together, girl, and everything will be just fine.”
In 1939 the British Ministry of Information commissioned a number of propaganda posters do be displayed in England at the outbreak of WWII. What did these posters say?
King George VI wanted to assure the populace that all capable measures were being taken to defend the country. Shouldn’t we give ourselves, our children, our roommates, our co-workers (wouldn't this be great for an office) this same visual reminder to remain calm and keep moving forward no matter what is going on in our lives? After all, my dad has always told me that 90% of the things a person worries about never even end up happening. After years of thinking about this advice (and even contemplating doing a research project to see if it was true--yeah, I'm a geek), I have to say I agree with my wise father. Most of the things I worry about never do end up happening (like when I see on the news that a prisoner has escaped a thousand miles from my home and I worry that he might break into my house that night, needn't worry).
Today Natalie Layton Photography is giving away four of these smooth posters. In addition, they are also giving away a $25.00 gift certificate with which you could get:
Beautiful Prints
Your own Customized Photo Cards
Invitations (and more)
Do you really want a poster, but are afraid your number may not get chosen (chosen by total complete randomness, mind you). Well, then we are here to help.
