I have never posted a picture of myself on this site before. I’m shy like that. In fact in a few days (or maybe in a few hours) you might return to this site and the photo will be removed—because, like I said, I’m shy like that.
But for now I have decided to post a picture of myself. Why? Because I received a package from the very talented Crystal B. the other day and inside was a yo-yo (a yo-yo being a very cute headband). I showed my friend the yo-yo and she asked, “When you wear the yo-yo, will you please take a picture of yourself wearing it and send it to me so I will know how to wear it?”
“Sure,” I replied.
So with no further ado.
Here is the yo-yo from an aerial view:
And not only am I wearing a yo-yo in the above photo, but I also have on another piece from Crystal B. I am wearing a lovely double-chained necklace from her shoppe. It is one of my favorites. The blue brightens most any outfit I wear. And I love the little birds which are holding the strand of blue flowers. Very vintage and fun.
Okay, enough about me. Rather, let's focus on Crystal B. and her gorgeous jewelry! Here are just a few more favorites (and by a few I mean several because there are just too many to choose from):
Dainty little gems aren't they?
I happen to own this "queen bee" bracelet and I just adore it. It really is so unique and it is the most perfect shade of pretty pink
Aren't these bobbi pins just fun and whimsical?
This vintage brass carousel actually has horses that turn, so cute.
Oh, Crystal B., how we love your jewelry!
Crystal B. is wonderful in many ways, she even has a necklace dedicated to Stephanie Nielsen, affectionately known to the blogging world as "Nie Nie." All proceeds from the sale of THIS necklace go to the Nie Nie Recovery Fund. (and by the way, it's beautiful.)
Lucky for us, Crystal B. is generously giving away four different items today so that gives you more chances to win, right? You can enter to win up to FOUR times today as long as you live on this fine planet of ours.
For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.

For a third entry, in a NEW comment leave your first and last name and tell us about your current hairstyle. Long, short, dark, light, straight, curly, etc? But most importantly, do you like it?
Example: Jane Doe: My hair is the shortest it has been since the 4th grade. But my hubby likes it and I think it is really fun to wear different accessories in it (like the yo-yo).
And for a fourth entry, change your Facebook status to let your friends know that Give Away Today is giving away the most beautiful vintage jewelry today (be sure to include the link http://www.giveawaytoday.blogspot.com/) Then come back to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and that you have changed your status.

Allie Anderson - I really like the Felecia earrings.
Allie Anderson - Right now my hair is just there. I had it way short and I'm doing the growing out thing. I'm just about at shoulder length--and boring.

becky fitch - I just had my hair cut - very similar to your style 2 days ago. I am loving it.
Linda Lansford
Beth Jensen: I just got a new hair style yesterday and I love it! The best way to describe it is a long A-line (It's about 4-5 inches below my shoulders, but I have the A-line layers) I love it because my husband hates when I cut my hair short but I hate not having any style with it long. Now, I get to have the style I've been wanting, but I kept him happy by keeping it long.

I love the yoyo #1 and all the bobbi pins
Audrey Scarante - I have my hair on my shoulder and never had it shorter than that. I like the new cut I got a few weeks ago, very easy to take care of during the summer.

My hair needs some work but I am waiting for my sister in law to come visit to fix it. It is currently pretty long and dark brown.
Karen Scoffield
Mindy Wilson: You sold me on the yo-yo...I want one! Preferably Number 3.
Karen Scoffield: I have red naturally curly hair and although I don't like it (who really likes what they have) it is super easy and low maintenance so that is how it stays.
Mindy Wilson: My hair is long and looking a bit pioneerish lately. It's definitely time for a change. I'm thinking maybe a little longer length bob (so I can still have my ponytails every now and then)
Emma Carson
Hannah Jones: It's long with lots of blond highlights. I make myself think I need a change, but I always come back to this style. I like it!
April Heki

Melanie Comello
Julie Pocock: My hair is medium brown,in between short and long, and cut in a slight A-line. Currently looking for new style, because it's been too long since I've had a 'do that I really like.

Kathleen Yohanna: I would love to win the Vintage Reclaimed Andromeda earrings.

Lily Kwan: Noir - Melissa necklace
Lily Kwan: My hair is long and straight. I think it's okay.
