Giveaway #2 for October 13th:(CLAIMED)

SMMART Ideas is Giving Away a "Wild Things" Gift Package

ATTENTION Moms, Grandmas, and Teachers!! Today we would like to introduce you to the website SMMART Ideas. The S.M.M.A.R.T. acronym stands for Science, Math, Music, Art, Reading and Time-out for Tidbits.

The creator and moderator of SMMART Ideas, Lisa, posts a learning activity for kids each week in one of these subjects. Lisa’s background in molecular biology and chemistry drove her to compile simple science and math activities to introduce her children to these “hard” subjects through play. Teaching opportunities can be found every day in simple ways!

SMMART activities don’t require a lot of preparation and generally use items found around the home. Simple prep + Items on hand = Activities that will actually be shared together.

Today SMMART Ideas is giving away a “Wild Things” Gift Pack to one winner. This gift pack includes:

Megaplex Theatres would like to give away two tickets to their "Where the Wild Things Are" pajama party that will be on Saturday morning, Oct. 17th at 9:00am (value of $18/per ticket) in Sandy, Utah. Guests are invited to arrive in their pajamas, they'll read the book and watch the movie in 2D IMAX and then there will be breakfast, prizes, and giveaways during the party! So much fun! If the winner can't make the party, then Megaplex Theatres will keep two tickets for the movie at will call.

Thanksgiving Point has donated a family-four-pack of tickets to their Museum of Ancient Life where you can check out some ancient “wild things” that used to roam the earth.

Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are is being donated by a darling children’s bookstore in Tooele, Utah, called The Purple Cow Bookstore.

You can enter to win this fabulous "Wild Things" gift package from SMMART Ideas up to FOUR times today. The movie and museum are located in Utah. Therefore, this giveaway is open to those who live, travel, or have someone in Utah to whom they can give the package.

For one entry, leave your first and last name in a comment.
Example: Jane Doe

For a second entry, please visit SMMART Ideas website here. Look at all of their fun ideas and then return to Give Away Today and in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and an idea you would like to try.
Example: Jane Doe: I liked the post "Smmart Reading: Letter Starts". This is something simple I can do with my preschooler who is learning her sounds.

For a third entry, change your status on Facebook to let your friends know you are entering to win a killer "Where the Wild Things Are" package from www.giveawaytoday.blogspot.com. Once you have done this, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and "Status".
Example: Jane Doe: Status

For a fourth entry, in a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and one of your favorite children's book.
Example: Jane Doe: I actually love reading "Where the Wild Things Are" to my twenty-month old. It is his favorite book. We like to roar together when the Wild Rumpus Starts. I wish I could enter to win this giveaway. But alas, that would be cheating if I happened to randomly win.

The winner of the "Wild Things" package from SMMART Ideas will be announced tomorrow Wednesday, October 14th. Please visit us then to see if you are our winner and to discover our new giveaway for the day. Thanks and we'll see you tomorrow!
