Courtney Dairman: I wouldn't say it was a cute gift but I got some homemade buttermilk syrup one time and I loved it. The recipe was also attached so now I can make it anytime I want.
Each year I make tins full of cookies for all the neighbors (about 10). And each year they return their tins...I think it's a hint they want more cookies :)

Kristen Bunderson: One year I bought those little 6 inch christmas trees after christmas and then the next year I sprayed them with fake snow and gave out the story of Why Christmas Trees aren't Perfect to all of my neighbors. They turned out really cute, and the best thing was, if you wait until after christmas and get them on clearance for the next year you can get them cheap.

Jessica Harwood: Every year I always make up fun goodies to take to my neighbors. My favorite included Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer cookies for the kids, chocolate truffles for the moms, and fudge for dads. Homemade goodies are always best!

It was actually those BIG sized Candy Bars and it had a cute little poem attached to the front that was the exact size of the rectangle candy bar. The poem was to the tune of "Jingle Bells" that talked about the chaos I was in at that time - hence the "great" gift.
