After revealing your body type, Reachel will then tell you the colors that will look best on you, how to successfully clean out your closet, how to buy a better wardrobe for less, and more.
I received my Fashion Look Book last week and I love it! In order to create my Fashion Look Book, Reachel and I corresponded by email. She asked me questions about my lifestyle and I sent her a couple of pictures of me, my body measurements, and my coloring. In return, Reachel sent me my Fashion Look Book, which tells me the key pieces I should have in my wardrobe. It also suggests shopping hints for purchasing new items, such as jeans, swimming suits, and even the type of brassier that would work best for me. My Fashion Look Book also reminds me to “Make sure no one could mistake you for going to bed or the gym unless that’s where you’re headed.” It includes such great advice, which in the end, means I will buy less because I am buying well.

So, my advice to you today? Purchase a Fashion Look Book. And when it arrives, sit in a comfy chair, relax, and discover things you never knew about your body, your clothing, your coloring, yourself.

Example: Jane Doe: I have had four children, therefore my body has changed quite a bit in the past decade. It's good to know what will look good on my body now. Reachel also included how many trendy pieces a person my age should wear with each ensemble. This is helpful because I want to look stylish, but not like I'm trying to be a teenager.
For a third entry, because Reachel Bagley is here to help us discover clothing which will allow us to feel more confident, happy, and stylish, let’s take a second to recognize and share some of our fashion mistakes. In a NEW comment tell us your first and last name and describe one of your worst hairstyles or one of your most hideous outfits from the past (one that if you happen upon a picture of it, you cringe or laugh till you cry).
Example: Jane Doe: I had a mullet in 5th grade. And yes, I am a female.

P.S. One of my favorite things about my Fashion Look Book is Reachel’s “Life Tips” for me. Such wise advice. So as we head into the weekend, for your reading pleasure, and perhaps consideration: “Find a way to make everyday special. Don’t save beauty for a distant occasion. Wear a lacy bra, dab on some perfume, use stemware at dinner. Don’t worry if something gets worn out, used up, or broken. It would be a greater tragedy for it to get dusty or forgotten.”

Chloe Mooso: My favorite item of clothing is my blinged up jeans that I finally broke down and bought... after fighting having to buy "fat" jeans. They make me feel really good!
Andrea JOhnson: I would love it because I can't afford to always buy high- end pieces, but my body is too long for cheaper clothes at places like target. Plus, I have had 3 children, but I'm still in my 20's and don't want to look too old or young for my age.

melisa merrill- help with jeans
Tessie Friedli
melisa merrill- purple flower skirt
Hilary Glad: I have had 2 children, and nothing seems to fit. I dread shopping for clothing because I keep telling myself that I should wait until I can get my body back to where it was, so nothing that I have looks good on me. I would love the help to figure out what my shape is (I fall within 3 of the catagories), and how to best dress me.
Andrea JOhnson: My worst hair cut was when I was a little girl and my bangs went half way to the back of my head. . .and they were curled to great lengths!
Alysa Stewart: I had a pair of red jeans that I used to wear all the time. Bad, bad mistake.
Hilary Glad: I still have some of the clothes that I wore when I was in 9th grade, I really need to update my wardrobe. I definatly have more quantity than quality, and really need help figuring out what to buy.
Tessie Friedli: I would like this book because I recently had a baby and my body has changed. Some of my old clothes do not fit anymore and I am looking for help to what looks best with me before I go out and spend more money on new clothes.
Nickole Montoya
Lyndsey Smalley: Worst hair idea ever: cutting my hair about 1" long. I looked like a 12-year-old boy.
Tessie Friedli: The worst clothes that I look back on wearing is in junior high. THe skater shoes and baggy pants were the cool thing and now I think they are just ridiculous.
Jennifer Willson
Jill Simmons
Alysa Stewart: Liks she says, everyone needs a friend to go shopping with. This would be excellent!
Jill Simmons
I have been following Cardigan Empire for a while and have been longing for a Look Book!
Lyndsey Smalley: Because I'm having my second child in two years this July and I am going to need help dressing my new body after my daughter is born. Thank you!

I grew up in the 80's and had REALLY BIG hair. My hair in my wedding pictures is hilarious!
suzanne anderson: black komono sleeve dress
Kendra Heffelfinger: I love Cardigan Empire & would like my own look book because I am so dense when it comes to shopping for me. I need to get out of the SAHM T-shirt and Jeans rut!
Kendra Heffelfinger: My Vertigo Jeans. They were inexpensive, from Marshall's. They look similar to Citizen jeans which do not come in my size 12!
Jessica Baden
Kristen Conley:
Because I look like a comfy mommy! I want to look like a woman again!
Amy Riddle
suzanne anderson: To try to save money since we had our son, I never go shopping for myself, and if I do its really a good deal and usually not my first choice if i had the money to buy. So basically i feel like i'm becoming the typical "mom" by dressing horribly and never getting dolled up the way I used to, just to save money... I need to know what key pieces I should spend my money on so that I can still look chic but not have to go shopping more than once a season.
Jessica Baden: I've never been able to figure out which clothes will flatter my "mommy" body.
Jessica Baden: permed mullet in 3rd grade.
My hair! I had dyed blak hair. I decided to go pltinum blond. My friend bleached my hair twice in a row. My hair was a rainbow of yellow, orange and rust. It turned into elastic hair...stretched six inches.
julie brown
Amy Riddle - I have had six children and am trying to lose weight. I can NEVER find pants that don't gap in the back because my hips are large but my waist, not so much. I never know what looks good on me and my sister moved away so I feel like I have no one to ask who will tell me the truth. I need serious help!
Michele Alvord
Amy Horsburgh- because I tell my kids how to dress every day. Now it's time for someone else to give me a clue!
Chelsea Forsythe: I need fashion help after having 2 kids under 2!
Chelsea Forsythe: I love my black wrap around dress from shabby apple it covers a lot!
Karina Wetzel
Jamie Shaw: I think I know what looks good on me, but would love a positive or negative affirmation from a professional

Allison F. Anderson

Jamie Shaw: I have a red/orange cardigan with chiffon ruffles that I could wear everyday, needless to say, I love it.
Brie Williams:Because I have been reading the Cardigan Empire blog for a while and the hints I dropped to my hubby for a look book this christmas did not work
Karina Wetzel- My favorite thing would have to be my Purses!!! I love them :)
Lyndsie Thomas
Brie Williams: worst hair ever was when a stylist tried to get maroon hilites out of my hair with bleach and I ended up with ORANGE hair a-la the chick in the fifth element movie. I cried and then threatened her to fix it. When I was leaving she said: I wouldnt blow dry or flat iron that for a few days... it might ALL BREAK OFF!!!
Rachel Papka
Allison Price: I feel like I've got a pretty good idea of what works for my body, but I'm sure there are things I could do to look even better!
Allison Price: I can't live without my favorite pair of jeans. They're just so comfy.
Sara Begley
Sara Begley: because I have absolutely zero fashion sense. It is time to learn.
Candice Baird
Rachel Papka. I'm a hard to fit woman, a fact that has been true since before I became "fashion concious." So in reaction, I became a minimalist in my wardrobe. I would love to have a fashion look book to help me prioritize the ways to make my hard-to-fit body work and give me confidence in purchases for my wardrobe.
Lisa Gettler : I get overwhelmed with what will look the best
Sara Begley: my 1980's asymmetrical "boys" hair cut/bob.Then again, maybe it's making a comeback.
Lee Ann Grundy
Lee Ann Grundy I had claw bangs!!
Lisa Gettler: I truly had a pair of "hammer" pants, that I wore all of the time. *sigh*
Rachel Papka. Rather than fight with my figure, I spent two years shopping in my brother's closet. Needless to say, not the most flattering of styles were found there.
Candice Baird: I would love this book because after having my twins (10 months old now) I lost all my baby weight plus 30 lbs. Due to nursing and taking care of them. BEST DIET EVER. I have never been this small my whole life. I need to know how to dress my little (but saggy) self. :)
Candace Robinson
Candice Baird: I grew up in the 80s and had the high bangs. I used to rat them and see how high I could get them to stand up.
Candace Robinson: After 4 kids and focusing on them for so long, I forgot how to take care of myself and make me look cute :(
Jill Stoddard
Stephanie Blackard
Mary McLain

Rebecca Milne: After 5 kids I definitely could use some fashion advice. I love her style so much her button has been on my blog for weeks now!
Mandy El Halta: I have 3 small children, and I don't want to be a frumpy mom.
Becca martin
Mandy El Halta: I totally had the big hair and especially big bangs as a kid. I also used to peg my pants and wear 2 pairs of socks
Becca Martin- My husbands black Hoodie
Candace Robinson: the hideous outfit that I have on right now. Still wearing maternity shirts after having a baby nine months ago. My weight seems to have redistributed in different places than before and I can't find anything that looks good on me.
Virginia Ortega
I really want to look my best, but since I've had kids and left the workplace, I usually just wear a teeshirt and jeans. It's time to expand my wardrobe so I can look good and feel good about myself.
Rebecca Milne- Worst Fashion mistake Skinny Jeans from the 80's....oh wait those are back again!
Clair Shearar
Becca Martin- When my three year old was born I had really short hair. Ihated it
Clair Shearar:My favourite item of clothing right now is a gorgeous long green & white print maxi dress.
Melissa Baldwin
Since I'm now in my (early!)thirties, it's time for my wardrobe and I to finally coexist in harmony rather than stare at each other quizzically. I'd love a Look Book from Reachel since her advice makes style seem like something that can be practical, accessible and fun.
Katie Warnock: I am an elementary school teacher and I really want to be able to look my very best at work - and not be a frumpy looking teacher! Also, I have never been able to find a pair of pants that fit my in the hips/thighs area AND the waist area. I could really use a few tips!!
Shaylyn Ekins-I usually wear the same colors. My closet is pretty monotone most of the year.
Melissa Baldwin: I am a terrible clothing shopper - I loathe shopping and put it off until things are threadbare. Maybe if I knew what looked best, I could enjoy it more.
Katie Warnock - a cream sweater with a belted waist that my husband got for me!
Clair Shearar:My reason for wanting a look book is that I am finally losing weight after having my 2 children & being a "big girl" most of my life & I need some pointers!
Christi Gorelli: Leggings, pre- AND post-Lohan. Enough said (shudder.)
Shaylyn Ekins-I went through a phase where I only wore boy clothes. It wasen't pretty!
Melissa Baldwin: short haircut in 9th grade - I looked just like a boy in one of my classes. Not what I was going for.
christina wandry: i have been pregnant or nursing and back again for the last few years--my body is always changing and things that used to look good on me are horrendous now!
Jessica Ballard
christina wandry: right after my parents got divorced and going into the 8th grade i was an emotional mess. my mom took me for a special treat to a fancy salon for a fun haircut. she completely chopped off all of my hair in a super short bob and gave me big bangs--this was not the 80s anymore. it was horrific!
Tonia Perl
Amy Easley: I had a GIANT afro perm in 8th grade and I got it done on school picture day...my hair didn't even fit in the picture!
Tonia Perl- I want to look put together, so I can be more confident when I am out and about.
Jessica Ballard: I have no fashion sense and the book would (hopefully) be a great help!
Angie Dodds
Tonia Perl- Ratted my hair-like twice the size of my head and then put one of those huge hair clip bows on the side of my head!!!! AHHHH!
Leisa Monahan
Jessica Ballard: I got a great flirty black trench coat online- I get compliments on it everywhere I go!
Tenille goeringer: as most women, my body has changed quite a bit since having kids. I'd like to dress nice and look as good as I can with this new body.
Tenille Goeringer: I had the 90's big hair, where you blow dry your bangs to stick straight up, but I also have naturally curly hair, My hair was HUGE!
Sara Johnson: I wore my dad's jeans in junior high with boxers under them.
Rebecca Hughes - because I see the models (or even just my friends) in the cutest outfits, but when I try the same look, I can't pull it off. I am a very busy working mommy of 4 children - I would LOVE to be able to find the style that would let me be a mom, but still feel professional at work!
Amy Easley: I have 3 kids and NO fashion sense :( I need all the help I can get...sweats are ok all day right??!!?!!
Rebecca Hughes - I had the mullet in 6th grade. I remember the stylist telling me to keep the back long because "You can always cut it off later, but you can't glue it back on." I'm still trying to figure out why SOMEBODY didn't just take a pair of scissors to it!!!
Jenna Holmes
Jenna Holmes: I would like some fashion advice because I am tired of buying the same shirt in 4 different colors every season. I need some life injected into my wardrobe!
Jenna Holmes: My favorite article of clothing is a pair of Big Star Jeans I bought at an outlet store. The pocket embellishments are to die for.
Codi Weeks
Angie Dodds: I would like a fashion look book because I feel like my wardrobe is so disjointed! I have pieces from every style and none of it seems to mesh.
Codi Weeks: I had my 3rd baby almost 3 months ago and I am shocked that I'm still wearing my maternity shirts. They look decent on me now, but I wonder what I actually looked like while pregnant with a 9 lb baby!
Kallie Blaisdell:My fav thing to wear is my yoga pants
Amber Hansen
Amber Hansen : I have an athletic built and have no idea what's the most flattering style for me.
Karen Dean
Sara Johnson: my yoga pants.
Codi Weeks: My biggest fashion mistake?? I had a dare with a male neighbor..I lost and so he got to shave my head, I told him to leave my bangs so I would atleast look like a girl still...yeah...not exactly the look I like to go for. I even had my 7th grade pictures taken a few weeks later. HORRIBLE! Yes, it went in the year book.
Allison Jester
Amber Hansen : fuschia ruffle wedges I got with my Christmas money from my parent.
Sara Johnson: I've always wanted to know how to fit clothes to my body. Whether I've got more weight or less, my shape stays relatively the same. I just need to know how to fit the clothes to the body...for this decade!
Linda Pollick
Allison Jester: I would love my own look book because I have found it increasingly difficult to search through so many trendy styles and find something that will look good on me. I have never been a petite girl, and it seems that fashion just doesnt like me. Help!
Andrea Stewart- I just don't know what pieces of clothing to look for after two kids that are cute, young, and fit well.
Tonya Vargas
Tonya Vargas: Jeans
Abbey Fluckiger
suzi King
Suzi King: I still have a dress that I had in high school.
Andrea Stewart- I had an awful dress in high school that I wore to a girls choice dance one time. Looking back on the pictures (before I destroyed them) was so embarassing.
Angie Nickle: This give away would unstick me from my transition mode! Here's my situation- I'm about to turn 30,just lost my pregnancy weight and feel too old for my livin' single-college clothes & equally uncomfortable in apparel that feels matronly. I usually end up in jeans and a basic shirt. Also, I've never been able to pinpoint what body shape I have-I'm thinking veggie from space!
Angie Nickle: my best lookin' jeans
Michelle Palmer
tiffany cox
Heidi Nelson: I would love to be able to find clothes that make me look good and feel more confident.
tiffany cox. i want to dress more my age
Shanna Nebeker
Michelle Palmer: I always had THE worst perm when I was young! Sometimes it would grow out and be straight at the roots and I'd still do it curly on the ends...YUCK!
tiffany cox. my favorite article of clothing is an old pair of jeans that fit great and are comportable.
Jessica Larsen
WENDY JOHNSON
Jessica Larsen: being a frumpy mom
Jessica Larsen: big bangs, ultra blond hair, purple cowboy shirt..AHH!
Cortney Dickson
Rachel Worthen - Brown tuxedo shirt with white polkadots
Kristian Carling
Cortney Dickson: because i just graduated college and i am out in the professional world. I want to kmow what to wear to best present myself and look current, but not too young to hire.
Heidi Nelson: I got a red trench last fall that I love!
Shanna Nebeker: I had a baby a year ago and I was very petite before he was born but not I have wide hips and a small upper body. I want to learn how to dress in order to accent my waist but hide my "motherly" features. I also have really short legs so finding a style that fits my hips while not drowning my legs is hard.
Michelle Palmer: dark blue skinny jeans! I thought I would hate them (and I did) but I can't imagine a time before skinny jeans! :)
Jeanine Crane: I want to be a cute mom... I just don't know what looks are good for me.
Virginia Ortega
In the 1980's I had long hair in a spiral perm and bangs three inches high. (ugh)
Cortney Dickson: in middle school i used to wear like 4-7 necklaces at teh same time, all different lengths so my neck to my chest was completely covered with necklaces.
Amanda F. Jensen
Bobbi-Jo High: I am a fashion disaster and really could use all the help I can get. I've spent the last three years, either pregnant or nursing. I am started to wean my youngest and ready to shed this weight and feel like a woman again...not just a tired, overweight mama.
Cheryl Fabrizio
Emilee Lamb
Emilee Lamb
Cortney Dickson: "plastic by gly" jeans with colored stitching on the back pockets.
Shanna Nebeker: I was a major tom-boy in middle school and I would wear baggy corderoy pants and guys t-shirts. I also had the pixie hair cut, which is cute unless you wear the clothes I did with it.
Jeanine Crane: my favorite piece of clothing right now is a green striped shirt with cute sleeves... I don't have much when it comes to maternity clothes.
Crissy Wood
Bobbi-Jo High: I have a photo of me back in the mid-eighties dressed up in an outfit that totally made me think I was going for the Madonna look. All I have to say is lace, big earrings, crazy hair...I will NEVER live down the 80's!
Crissy Wood: I don't get excited when I look in my closet anymore...too much black and white.
Annie Lyman: I am determined to loose some weight, but I don't want to look like a slob until I'm skinny. I want to look good now.
mandy sadler - favorite article of clothing would have to be my black platzzo pants - love them!!!!
Crissy Wood: I have naturally curly hair and in the late 80s early 90s I had it cut so that one side was longer than the other and the back/neck area was shaved (you know the new waver look). This was also the time when I was wearing braces and awkward. Ugh!
Annie Lyman: My senior year of high school I had a short hair cut and a perm. I looked like I had a pyramid on my head.
jennie brasfield
mandy sadler - my fashion problem is from chest to thigh - had a child in oct 05 and twins in jan 07. I have lost all the weight but still look pregnant.
jennie brasfield: just had my second baby and i'm still trying to wear clothers i wore in HS. i'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong!
jennie brasfield: not so much a fashion mistake ... but i always cringe inside when my middle school students tell me they have the same shirt, jeans, skirt, whatever - as i'm wearing.
Brookeh Call
Meredith Locker
Brookeh Call I have never really found my personal style. Right now I have a lot of plain t-shirts and jeans in my closet and I would like to change that up. Plus I want to feel confident in my own skin and clothes.
Lenessa Cutler
Meredith Locker: My body has changed a lot in the last 32 years. I'm not sure that I wear things that are the most flattering for my middle and I really don't know for sure what colors look the best on my...I've tried to figure out my body type and I just get confused! UGH!
Anne-Marie Cain
Brookeh Call I've had many style disasters in my day, but I think the one I cringe at the most was in fourth grade I would wear these one piece outfits that I thought were cool, but looked like I was wearing pajamas. I even had friends tell me so in fourth grade, but I didn't listen.
Michele Ondra: I have no idea how to dress my body now. I had an emergency c-section 2 years ago and well, I have a huge marshmallow bulge in the shape of a smile. (from the incision). I have lost 2 or 3 dress sizes and now don't know what to wear. I am frugal beyond belief but I would be willing to spend money on something that would make me like how I look instead of just covering up! Please please please pick me!!!
Mary Ann Curtis
Mindee Mellen
Anne-Marie Cain
I'd really like the Look Book b/c I wear the same three things over and over again. I'm stuck in a major rut!
Mindee Mellen
Michele Ondra: (fashion mistake) when I was younger (think early 80s) I LOVED wearing this ugly neon green/pink/orange sweatshirt with neon pink tights AND neon orange huge socks. ugh. I thought I was so cool... :(
Mindee Mellen I love my black puffer vest
Holly Fullmer
Meredith Locker: I wore Rocky Mountain Jeans in High School - no pockets on the back- UGH!
Anne-Marie Cain
My absolute worst hairstyle was when I was in Junior High. I decided to trim my bangs myself and had read that if you tape them across your forehead and use the tape as a guide that they would be straight. So, after I taped my bangs without thinking I made the first cut....ABOVE the tape instead of below. I cried and cried and cried. I've never cut my own bangs again.
Torri Mahoney: I had huge bangs that I'm so embarrassed of every time I see pictures of them!
Kiersten Kobel: cuz' I am lost in ug fashion since having my kid!
Torri Mahoney: I just had my first baby and really want to feel good about how I look again!
Kiersten Kobel: Mushroom head cut in 9th grade. Hairstyle gone wrong!
Anna Peacock
D'Rae (last name witheld for privacy please)
Melissa Yorgason
Anna Peacock: I really just want to know what style is the best for my body shape and age appropriate. I am in a style and fashion slump! Help ME!
