My dolls were all placed on a purple chair with rinestones that looked like a royal thrown. My bed was a dream! My mom stapled fabric to the sealing and made me a canopy that I could open and close! LeAnn hammond
Jennifer Matthews
Heather Herakovic-My bedroom was REALLY small, and you had to go through it to get to the upstairs, not very private. I hated my room, for more than just the traffic going through. It was pink, and I hated pink, I wanted blue walls but my mom wouldn't let me. I so hated that room.
Shirley Matthews
Larry Hammond
My childhood room was a vision in purple - every hue of it from the faintest lilac to the deepest royal purple. It was absoultely amazing. My mom even painted my furniture purple. I had a 3-tone purple shag rug (yup - I grew up in the 70's) but the best part of my room was the afghan my grandmother made me - two purples and a pink are in that blanket. My purple room is long gone, my Nana passed away almost 3 years ago but I still have that purple blanket and use it whenever I'm on the couch watching TV. It's been around for 30+ years now and except for some minor fading, it looks just like it did when she crocheted it all of those years ago.

The furniture was antique white with yellow trim and there were butterfly decorations. The furniture is still in my parents' basement waiting for me to be able to take it.
LaDonna Swapp: I shared a room with my sister till I was about 6 years old. It was done mostly in pink including the bedspreads.
Carrie Fuhriman: My room as a kid was really very plain. I shared with my sister so the were 2 twin beds, the walls were white & the carpet was brown. I think there were a couple pictures on the wall but I can't remember of what. I think one might have been a kitten. So now, because I had to have such a plain room, my childrens rooms are painted in BRIGHT colors & there own artwork hangs on the wall. I love seeing it every time I walk into them!

Nicole Greene - I had a complete seventies room. Complete with the orange and white striped wallpaper with the little orange and brown bonnet girl on it. I was the oldest so didn't share a room until quite a few years later when my youngest sister came along. Leslie Johnson
My sister is ten years older than me and we shared a room. It was a typical bedroom. Our bedding and curtains were peach colored and she had a pen pal from France, who had sent her a picture that hung in our room. That is about all I remember of it.Cindi Hoppes
Melissa Davis - oh boy, my childhood room! It was wall to wall blue duck wall paper! My mom was obsessed with ducks and they were ALL over! (my sister had pink wall to wall duck wall paper). I had a canopy bed with sheer white hanging over. My favorite part of my room was my closet! When my mom would grown my sister and I we would bring some cheesy nachos up and read books in the closet!
