Stephanie Courson-Last year I gave my son a motorcycle themed party. It was so much fun to shop for that party. I found a motorcycle pinata, we had fabric flame tablecloths. I filled flame fabric bags with tattoos, hotwheel motorcycles, leather headwraps and lots of candy. That was the best!

simone tran: a great birthday party idea is to make a cupcake cake. It's super easy to make yourself, is easy to serve to guests, and requires very little cleanup. You could easily personalize the cake by strategically placing the cupcakes to form an image or writing a letterin each cupcake to make up a phrase.

Julie Scott: For my son's birthday we launched off a bottle rocket full of candy. Each child got to launch it and then every one would run to get the candy. Kids loved it. A better and more fun approach to the pinata.

Megan Hall: My mom unrolled and wrapped the back yard with several colors of yarn. It looked like a big spider web. All my friends got their own ball to roll up. My Mom hosted a HAWAII 5-0 Party for my Dad's 50th. It was awesome! I'm talking Hula Dancers, Hawaiian singers, Hawaiian cuisine (catered, of course.) tiki lamps, hawaiian flowers, etc. It was a party I will never forget! SO FUN!
